Crafty Creators Link Party #12

Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party, where you can share all of your wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, recipes, or any other thing that makes your heart happy! After you link up, I’d love it if you’d spread the word about the party! Remember, you must be following me on social media in order to be featured on next week’s party. If you’re a new follower, let me know that in the comments.

Great news everyone; we have a co-hostess for Crafty Creators for the month of April! The lovely Dee of Grammy’s Grid will be choosing the features for the party beginning next week. Head over and give her some love! I am so, so grateful to have her help. I am choosing the features for Happiness is Homemade for the month of April, plus I do three other posts a week, and I’m moving. I’ll be packing seven years’ worth of stuff over the next few weeks, so she is a Godsend!

This Week on the Blog

For my first post of the last week, I teamed up with some lovely ladies for our monthly Creative Craft Hop. My contribution was this beautiful burlap cross wreath. Check out the post for an easy, step-by-step tutorial. I plan to keep mine up throughout the year and change the ribbon and flowers, but it could be used for Easter alone.

Next, I shared a tutorial for making small spring candle wreaths that you could also use on the backs of chairs or other small things. I made them with a pink and white buffalo check bunny to match my door hanger and centerpiece that I shared last week. I think they turned out adorable. I can’t wait until we move so that I can get a picture in a dining room with natural light lol. You can’t tell, but the wreaths are turquoise and not light blue!

Finally, I created a few free spring printables to use as decor in our dining room. I framed them, put them in gold frames, and placed them on the bookcase shelves. Aren’t they adorable? You can print them in any size. I think they would make really cute cards to send to friends or family this spring. I’m may make some in other colors with other sayings, so let me know if you have any requests. By the way, the candle wreaths are the turquoise color in these printables. The pictures are way off, right?

I have some more spring free printables on the way along with some great tutorials, so make sure you follow me on social media using the buttons in the sidebar so you don’t miss it. If you’d like to be featured on next week’s party, you must be following me on one of the platforms. You can leave a comment at the end of the post to let me know what platform you’re following if you’re a new follower. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post (like the printables), including new link parties, so you never forget to join us

This Week’s Features

I had to share these adorable ice cream cone floral arrangements created by Jenna of The Painted Apron. They adorned the party table for her granddaughter’s 9th birthday. Aren’t they beautiful? Check out the tutorial to see how to make her own!

Ann over at Apple Street Cottage has done it again with this fantastic carrot wreath! Remember the witch hat wreath forms that I use during Halloween (like the burlap witch hat wreath & deco mesh one)? She upcycled the forms into a carrot! You have to go check out how she does it.

Amy from A Day of Small Things shared the spring touches that she added to her home in this post. She also recounted an Emily Dickinson poem along with the pictures. I just love all of the florals she added!

Lynne over at Thrifting Wonderland shared her adorable collection of spring bunnies that she stores in her cupboard. Isn’t it adorable? Check out her post and blog to see how she finds these amazing thrifts!

Maryjo from Masterpieces of My Life came up with the perfect welcome to spring with this beautiful forced buds tablescape. I’m in love with her newly thrifted pewter accent plates. Don’t you love them?!

If you were featured, grab your “I was featured” button to display on your blog! Just right click on the image and choose “Save Image As,” then add it to your site. You can add a link back to the blog with the image if you’d like. I would really appreciate it.
