Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Linda of A Labour of Life will be choosing our features for the month of May.

Here’s what’s been going on here on the blog this week…

If you’re looking for a lovely gift, this DIY tote bag is great for just about any woman in your life! In the post I shared several free designs for moms and grandmothers that you can use on a tote, a t-shirt, mug, or any other blank you can think of. I made this tote bag for my mom for Mother’s Day, but you can use the designs for any time and use the tote bag tutorial with another design for other ladies in your life. No cutting machine is required for this gift!

On my Wednesday blog post and Facebook video, I made a floral door basket that you can recreate in less than 20 minutes. You gotta love DIY decor that’s beautiful, affordable, and easy to make!

Now on the Party

Welcome to the Happiness is Homemade Link Party 532. We are excited about another month of sharing, linking, reading, Pinning and inspiration. Linda, from A Labour of Life is our hostess for the month of May, so let’s get started.

As I said last week though, when my life gets overwhelming, I seek inspiration from all of you. I’m hoping to get some fun ideas this week with Happiness is Homemade 532. This weekend is Mother’s Day, a tough one for me as it is the first without my mom, but I will still celebrate because that is what she would want.

But enough about me, let’s talk about you. Come dazzle us with what you are making, baking, or creating this week.
