Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Bev of Eclectic Red Barn will be choosing our features for the month of March. Before we get to this week’s party, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days.

Due to a family emergency for Terrie of Decorate and More with Tip, the girls and I decided to postpone our One Room at a Time reveal until this coming Friday on Facebook. I will have the full post here on the blog on Saturday, so I hope you’ll stop by to see my newly redecorated master bedroom then!

On week 4 of One Room at a Time, I reupholstered my headboard, added a brand new rug, and hung curtains in my master bedroom. There’s a full tutorial for how to reupholster a headboard quickly & easily in the post. Next week we will all reveal our finished room refreshes!

I’ll be back soon & will have new decorating ideas & DIYs, along with some free printables, coming so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and via email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!

Now on to the Party

Shamrocks and Bunnies on HIH

Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade #521. I hope your weekend is going well. Hi, I am Beverly from Eclectic Red Barn, and I will be your host for March. Since we have both St. Patrick’s Day and Easter this month, I thought I would start out with some St. Paddy’s Day ideas. A craft, a tablescape and some goodies. I hope you find some inspiration.

If you missed last week’s party, you can check it out here.

This Week’s Features:

Ann over at Apple Street Cottage came up with a quick and easy St. Patrick’s Day idea, these “rainbow tubes” filled with Skittles, topped with marshmallows for clouds!

This tablescape is “Gone to the Dogs“. Each plate has a dog on it, and she also dresses up her stuffed dogs. You have to check out the one with glasses. Patty out did herself.

These Irish cream scones with Irish cream drizzle from Cindy’s Online Recipe Box look delicious. They are perfect to serve for St. Patrick’s Day with their shamrock sprinkles.

These St. Patrick’s Day Meringue Cookies look too cute to eat. It’s a cookie that has M&Ms. How yummy are these?

What can I say – it has Oreos in it, and you don’t have to bake it. How can you go wrong with this Mint Oreo Cheesecake?

These puppets are a great craft for the kids. Sam, from Simple Everyday Mom, even provides you with the template. All you have to do is color and put together and you can have your very own shamrock puppets
