Happiness is Homemade #525

Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Bev of Eclectic Red Barn will be choosing our features for the month of March. Before we get to this week’s party, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past week.

Today is Easter, and I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a Happy Resurrection Sunday! It is the day in which we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb, praise God! The Friday He was crucified looked bleak to all of His disciples and loved ones, but it was one of the greatest days that mankind was ever blessed with. The enemy and the world thought that they had won, but it was all God’s plan! Sunday came and Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death, and the grave! Praise God, we now have access to God the Father and Heaven through Jesus’ Resurrection. Today I invite you to read 1 Corinthians 15 if you do not know Jesus as your Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast!” Just believe that Jesus died and rose again and that He is the Son of God, and you will be given the gift of eternal life. God bless and know that I love you and Jesus does too!

This bunny flowerpot is a Dollar Tree DIY that you can make for $2.50! It’s quick, easy, and adorable, so be sure to check it out to save for the future!
