Welcome to Happiness is Homemade Link Party! I’m so glad you’re here to join us in sharing and being inspired by blog posts from around the world. Bev from Eclectic Red Barn is our hostess choosing the features for the month of March. After you share here, don’t forget to go link up on Crafty Creators Link Party. I’m so, so sorry this party is late this week. I had some sort of mental lapse I guess. Before we get to this week’s party, let me share what’s been going on here on the blog.
This week I again linked up with some lovely ladies for this month’s DIY Blog Hop. This month’s theme was kitchen, so I decided to make a little Dollar Tree crate shelf to hold my husband’s sugars, some hot chocolate, and little coffee holder thing-a-ma-bobs. Yes, that’s the technical term. You could also use this shelf in your bathrooms, bedrooms, and craft rooms. It’s so versatile.
Next, I created a roundup of spring wreaths that can be made using items from Dollar Tree. Prices are out of control right now, so budget shopping is even more important. There are 30 wreaths in this roundup, so you’ll definitely find at least one that fits your home and tastes!
Finally, I teamed up with another group of lovely ladies for our Under $10 on the 10th Blog Hop. This month’s under $10 projects were themed for Easter/spring. My contribution was this buffalo check Easter bunny door hanger. It’s pretty easy to paint buffalo check (here’s a tutorial for painting buffalo check) and this adorable door hanger is perfect to bring some spring flowers and greenery in doors. Isn’t it adorable?! You can’t tell but the color of the buffalo checks are white and Tiffany/robin’s egg blue. For some reason it looks light blue in the photo.
I’ve got some great projects and spring free printable coming up, so make sure to follow me on social media or email so you don’t miss them! You can use the links in the sidebar or enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post. That will also help you remember to link up on both parties each week.
On to the Link Party!
You can’t celebrate a holiday without dessert (at least that is my rule) and this Chocolate Mint Shamrock Log fits the dessert bill.
Fudge for St. Patty’s day sounds great to me and this Mint Fudge look so yummy.
If you have little ones, this is the perfect printable for you. Stop by 3 Boys and and Dog to get yours.
