Welcome to Happiness is Homemade Link Party! I’m so glad you’re here to join us in sharing and being inspired by blog posts from around the world. Bev from Eclectic Red Barn is our hostess choosing the features for the month of March. After you share here, don’t forget to go link up on Crafty Creators Link Party. Before we get to this week’s party, let me share what’s been going on here on the blog.
This week I again linked up with some lovely ladies for this month’s Sustainable Pinterest Challenge. I shared this beautiful floral bike wheel wreath. You can make one using bike wheel forms from Dollar Tree. It’s not very difficult and it makes a big impact in your spring decor.
Finally I shared a tutorial on how to use acrylic paint to customize any fabric. It’s the perfect way to make t-shirts, baby and kids’ items, bags, towels, you get the picture. It’s washable and you can use cheap acrylic paint. Perfect for if you don’t have a cutting machine or can’t find HTV in the color you want or on things you can’t apply heat to. If you know how to do this already, check out the post anyway to get the free Easter SVG pictured.
On to the Link Party!
This Week’s Features
I just love these fabric carrots that Penney made for Easter decor. You can see so many Spring Kitchen ideas that she has shared over the last 25+ years.
Nothing like a luscious muffin in the morning and these Apple Cranberry ones will fit the bill. So check out this recipe and you just might be enjoying it in your morning.
Check out these adorable St. Patrick’s Day treat boxes. I would love to receive one of these. There is even an Irish blessing on the back that is so sweet.
As the holidays change, it is so nice to be able to update our pillows. Ann shows us a great tutorial on how to make Pillow Covers. You will want to make lots.
