Decorate with Me: Fall Home Tour 2023

Welcome back to our fall Decorate with Me series. I’m joining Terrie from Decorate and More with Tip and Tammy from Patina and Paint to take you on a fall home tour! Let’s get right into it.

Front Stoop

We start our fall home tour at the front door (the obvious way to start, I guess)! Last week I shared the full post.

On the door I used my fall twig wreath, which was so easy to make in about 10 minutes! Then next to it I placed a Dollar Tree sign that I did a little revamp on, & you can find that tutorial in the full fall porch post.

To the left of the door, I added some fall garlands with fairy lights on a 3-tier plant stand. Then I placed a large faux pumpkin, 3 small wood pumpkins, & on the top shelf, my DIY fall/Halloween lantern.

Here’s my finished fall front porch and a photo at night.

Fall Entryway

I don’t have a proper entryway, as you may know from my fall entryway post and video. To sort of create one, I added a shelf over my grandmother’s cedar chest. To that I added fall pillows, a blanket, pumpkins and a sentiment pumpkin from Dollar Tree in front of the chest.

Fall Mantle

Across from the entryway to the left slightly is our TV, which is mounted on the wall under a sofa table. Since we don’t have a fireplace, I love to decorate that table like a mantle.

The colors used in my fall home tour this year came from my rug. Imagine my surprise when I found matching colors in stems, garland, and a wreath at Hobby Lobby! The pumpkin stems, garland, and sign are all from there, and everything else came from Amazon.

There is a shelf on the bottom which I styled with a lot of my regular decor and a few pumpkins.

Full fall mantle with a "farm fresh" sign on the top with a glass jar filled with velvet pumpkins, a picture frame, on the right, candlesticks and pumpkins on the left, and a basket filled with pumpkins, vases, and pumpkins on the bottom, all pictured from a lower angle.

Now that I’m finished decorating for fall, I can enjoy my home tour with you in front of a cozy faux fire! There’s almost never a need for a real one down here on the Gulf Coast!

Fall Coffee Table & Living Room

Here it is on my fall styled coffee table with my DIY fall planter

and the planter from above.

On my couch I have some velvet navy pillows along with some navy and rust fall pillows. You can see my ladder shelf and end table styled for fall on each side of the couch.

I changed up my end table from my fall coffee table post to this fall home tour. I added these wood candlestick holders, these rechargeable candles (which are amazing because you don’t have to waste money on batteries!), along with a small vase that came in a 3-pack with dried baby’s breath.

Here’s a view of my ladder shelf from back when I first shared it. The only thing I changed for this fall home tour was replacing the pumpkin stems in the vase on the floor with these beautiful and super affordable fall eucalyptus stems, which you can see in the photo above.

Fall Kitchen Decor

Next up on my fall home tour is my kitchen. It was completely remodeled when we moved in, though it does need new appliances (in my opinion, but they work, so I’m blessed!) and I really want to paint the cabinets.

Here is a view facing the stove. That countertop is really long, which is nice and gives me a lot of space to work with. The stove is on the last section of that counter. From my kitchen counter post, I removed the things on the stove and replaced them with a small sign and a long cutting board from Hobby Lobby.

On the round tray, I replaced the blue wood pumpkin with a pumpkin Luminara candle (it’s actually a jack-o-lantern, but I turned it backwards until Halloween). Man, y’all, this thing is amazing! It is worth every. single. penny. My husband kept trying to blow it out then tried to put his finger through it when it wouldn’t go out! He finally figured out it was fake, ha!

To the left of the stove, I swapped out some fall stems for the Hobby Lobby stems that was the impitice of my fall color scheme on this home tour.

Near the sink I added a fall garland to my DIY tea towel ladder.

On the right of the sink, I completely changed it up. I placed the blue pumpkin that was on the round tray and a “farmer’s market” vase filled with the fall stems that are throughout my home.

Fall Laundry Space

I updated a few things in my laundry area for my fall home tour. I hung some fabric over the water hookups until I can finish my water hookup cover (y’all I ironed both of those fabrics a million times, but there must be a wrinkle gremlin that comes behind me every time I iron!). I also added a table to the corner so that my decorative basket can be seen better.

You can see the basket a little easier in this photo.

The only thing I changed on my laundry soap dispenser tray was to remove the baby’s breath and add in these pumpkin stems for a little fall color.

Laundry detergent and fabric softener in dispensers in decorative jars on a wood tray with pumpkin stems and white pumpkins in my fall laundry area during the home tour.

Fall Bathroom Home Tour

Finally, just a quick re-cap, we have our guest bathroom. It really needs to be updated, but we haven’t been able to do that yet. I added these shelves over the toilet and across from it, and they allow me to add decor as well as store toilet paper and extra towels in there. Huge plus! (I hate this wall color so much y’all! Someone come help me paint every room in the house. It’s actually a little more gray than it appears in the photos, so it’s not AS bas as it looks.)

Shelves in the bathroom decorated for my fall home tour with blue pumpkins on a lower shelf with white towels in the basket under it and a farmhouse truck, sentiment pumpkin, and an amber candle holder on the top shelf.

The shelf over the toilet I left the same way I had it in my fall bathroom post.

And that’s it for my fall home tour!

Next week I will begin decorating for Halloween with Tammy from Patina and Paint and Teresa from Through a Vintage Door. So my posting schedule will remain a little different over the next few weeks as we decorate. Instead of Wednesday and Saturday, it will be Tuesday and Friday like it has been over the past few weeks.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok where shared the video of my fall home tour on Wednesday. I hope to see you there!

    1. I love all your Fall decor in your home, the blues and orange are a perfect combination. Thanks for joining in on the Decorate with Us Fall season this year, we enjoy all the inspiration you have given us!

      1. Thank you so much Jenna! I was sooo busy over the last 2.5 weeks joining Tammy & Terrie (& Teresa & Corine on FB since they don’t have blogs anymore) for fall decorating. I was so nervous making videos with me in them (they’re on FB if anyone is interested in checking them out) & not just my hands lol. I’m always so highly critical of my looks, but aren’t most of us women, lol?! It got easier each day that I shared. I finished just in time to start my Halloween decorating on Tuesday, lol!

    2. Niki your home is so pretty! Of course you know I LOVE the colors, but your decorating is top notch. It looks like a home from a magazine. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

      1. Great minds & all, lol! Awww, thank you so much. I always think everyone else’s house looks so much better, but I think that’s the way it goes, ha! That green monster always comes out. I’m so happy to have joined you ladies this fall. It’s been so fun. Looking forward to Halloween decorating!

I'd love to hear what you think! Leave me a comment below!
