Can you believe that school is already just about over?! It seems like the year just began. I think the older we get the faster the years go by! Every year I give my son’s teachers a gift to thank them for the hard work they put in during the year. Today I’m sharing the gift tag that I created for a beach tote bag and a second free printable gift tag that can be used on any end of the year gift that a teacher might use for the summer. It can be hard to come up with a new gift idea at the end of each year, so I’ll be sharing a few ideas for that as well. Let’s get into it!

Supplies for using a free printable end of the year teacher summer gift tag:
- white cardstock paper
- printer
- ribbon to tie gift tag on to the gift
- hole punch
- Cricut Maker or Explore Air 3 (If you want to use the print then cut feature to have the machine cut the tags for you.)
- scissors
- free printable end of the year summer gift tag file
End of the Year Teacher Gift Tags for Summer Themed Gifts
For personal use only. Feel free to download these free designs and print them or use on your Cricut projects for your own use at home. They are not for commercial use, not to be placed on items for sale. That helps me keep these printables, SVGs, and PNGs coming to you for free! Another note: you will not my logo overlay on your downloaded design. It is there to keep people from downloading the images straight from Google, or others from stealing them to use on their site. Thanks for understanding! Feel free to share this post for your friends and family to make their own projects with this design!
These cute little gift tags are perfect for just about any end of the year teacher gifts. Just download, print, and tie onto whatever your gift is!
Beach Tote Bag Gift Tags
I bought adorable beach tote bags to give my son’s teachers this year. I usually try to keep it pretty cheap (under $5-10 each), but I splurged a bit on this set of 8 tote bags because I wanted one for myself! It took me weeks to search and search to find bags that were cute and affordable.
This set of gift tags uses a pun on the word totally. I kept it simple with shades of black and white. Remember that when you print the gift tags my logo will not appear on the downloaded copy.
When you print the gift tags, sign your child’s name over the heart. I made it a bit transparent so that you it won’t interfere with the signature. Cut the tags, then tie them onto the beach tote handles using either the scarf that comes with them or a ribbon.
How to Add Gift Tags to Teacher’s Beach Totes
Once you’ve printed the gift tags, cut them out. I used scissors. In hindsight I wish that I had taken the time to use the print then cut feature on my Cricut since I’m terrible at cutting circles! I recommend it if you have a Cricut.

Punch a hole at the top of the gift tags. I used a 3-hole punch that I have because I don’t have a one punch.

If you have bought tote bags from Amazon, they usually come with a scarf. Use it to tie the gift tag to the tote bags. If you don’t have a scarf, then just use a ribbon.

Aren’t these so cute?! Be sure to come back on Saturday because I will be sharing the tutorial and free split letter monograms for you to make your own tote bags! Follow me via email & social media so you don’t miss them!

Affordable Summer Themed Teacher Gift Ideas
If you like the tote bag idea, these white and jute beach totes are another great option. These are a bit smaller than the ones that I used.
These palm tree earrings are super cute. A nod to summer, less teachin’ and more beachin’ like it says on my free printable gift tags from last year!
If your child’s teacher is a Friends fan, and who isn’t?!, then this shirt is perfect! “We were on a break!”
Teachers will be off duty for the summer in these cuties. For about $15 you get four pair of socks, a gift for four teachers. Affordable and adorable, what more could you ask for?
This coffee cup with warmer would be great if you only have one teacher to buy for since it’s $20. It would be waiting for them when they come back to school in the fall to keep their coffee, tea, or hot cocoa warm. Also an amzing back to school gift.
These planters are super cute and useful! They have several different plants and herbs that you can grow, tomatoes, thyme, sunflowers and more. They all have different sayings on them like, “Thanks for taking the thyme to help me grow.” and “Grateful for you from my head to-ma-toes!” Punny, right?
I hope that you’ve found the perfect end of the school year teacher gift to go with my free printable gift tag!
