The end of the school year is here! I made adorable beach totes for my son’s teachers and shared two different free printable gift tags that you can use on any end of the year teacher gift. In the post I also shared a few gift ideas that are super affordable that you can use the gift tags on.

This Week’s Features!

Summer is officially here for my family with the end of school yesterday. This “don’t bug me” wreath made by Debbee over at Debbee’s Buzz would be perfect for the season, don’t you think? I love the watermelon ribbon! It’s just what would bring the bugs marching in to take your picnic away!

Another adorable summer wreath idea, is this floral bee wreath made by another Debbie, Debbie from Debbie-Dabble Blog! I love the addition of the bees buzzing in to the flowers to help pollenate the earth! You’ll definitely want to check out her post to see her front porch refresh for the summer!

These painted rocks by Ann from Apple Street Cottage are so cute! She used the shape of the rocks to enhance the look of her art. The orange slice looks so real to me. It won’t be long before you’re hearing, “I’m bored!”, so rock painting is a great summer activity keep your littles busy while they’re off for the summer. Ann mentions a rock garden with encouraging messages on the rocks in a park by her home, and I think it would be so much fun to create one at your home or a park near you!

This roundup of 20 fun summer ideas by Natasha over at Serenity You gives you plenty of things to do with your kids or grandkids during the break! My son and I will be trying the sponge water “balloons” and tie-dye shirts. The cherry limeade popsicles and rainbow water look like delicious refreshments to make and share too!

Summer is the perfect time for picnicking, and this DIY aged picnic basket by Cindy of Cloches and Lavender is just what you need to have a fabulous lunch in the park. She gives a full tutorial for aging the entire basket, including the faux leather and metal snaps.
