Decorate with Me: Small Porch Decor

Welcome friends! Today we’re continuing our Decorate with Me Fall Series. Terrie over at Decorate and More with Tip and Tammy of Patina and Paint, and I are sharing how we decorated our porches. They have some nice, larger porches to share with you, but if you have a small porch, come along and I’ll share how I styled my small front stoop area for fall. Let’s get into it!

Fall Porch Decor

First I placed a fall wreath hanger on the door which I got from Dollar Tree and hung my fall twig wreath from it.

To the left I placed a fall porch sign from the $5 section at Dollar Tree that I updated just a bit. I’ll share what I did in just a bit.

On the right of the door I have a little plant stand, but since it’s too soon for fall blooms (and I kill EVERYTHING), I added some decor to it. First I draped a few fall garlands across all three shelves.

Then I placed twinkly lights that came with this pack of garland on it, and a pumpkin on the bottom shelf.

On the other two shelves I placed a set of small wood pumpkins and my DIY fall/Halloween lantern with the fairy lights bundled under them so that it would be lit up. I plan to make another bow for it with the ribbons used on my wreath, but it’s ok for today.

Here is a view lit up at night.

And my finished fall porch!

Dollar Tree Fall Sign Update

This is my fall sign before I tweaked it a little.

I simply taped the inside off and painted the edges…

and added a bow made with the same ribbon from my wreath.

I may add some fall stems behind the bow, but I definitely want to get some brick clips to hang it a bit higher. For now, it’ll be ok sitting next to the door. Unless a hurricane comes along….

    1. Niki I love your porch! It is so inviting and just screams Hey – it’s Fall, come on in! I love how you changed things up just a little to go with everything. Great job!!

    2. Your front porch is all ready for Fall. Love everything you placed there, the Dollar Tree sign you revamped is perfect, I haven’t seen that in our stores. Love the lantern you created Niki as well. Great job decorating your porch. Thanks for sharing.
