I’m so glad you’ve joined us for You’re the Star Blog Hop for our creative week features! Before we get to those features and the link up, I’d like to share what’s been happening over the last week on my blog.
I made two faux candle Halloween centerpieces for my dining room side tables. I looked in to making them with real candles, and it would’ve cost me over $75 in candles alone! Since I wanted them to be black for Halloween, I wouldn’t have been able to use them during the rest of the year. There was no way I was going to spend that kind of money for candles for one month! My medicines are over $400 a month, so any additional spending needs to stay close to $0! I came up with this idea, and made two centerpieces for $5, $2.50 each!
Thanksgiving and November are coming up so fast! I am getting all of my decor ready, and I wanted to make a few new pieces and give you some new tutorials. You have seen several of my pumpkin wreath form projects (if you haven’t make sure you stick around and check them all out!), and I have a few forms left. So I decided to make a woven yarn pumpkin wreath for Thanksgiving. I love this wreath so much! It’s so elegant and luxurious looking!
Then I made this matching fall pumpkin topiary as a part of a blog hop called $10 on the 10th. You can make this piece for well under $10! I love these colors together: navy, burgundy, and copper. I really think they are elegant, and make the perfect Thanksgiving decor. Picture your family mingling for the holiday with candles lit, dressed up, with gorgeous decor around. Make sure you take lots of pictures, and tag me in them so I can share in the beauty!
