Hello friends! I’m back, sharing another area for Decorate with Us Christmas 2023. Terrie from Decorate with Tip and More, Tammy from Patina and Paint, and I have been decorating room by room for the holidays, and today I will be showing you how I added Christmas decor to my coffee and end table as well as the rest of my living room. Let’s get into it!

Replace the Rug
If you have been watching along with Decorate with Us Christmas on Facebook, you may remember that I removed my normal living room rug during my prepping video. It’s a large 9×12 washable rug that I absolutely love, but it’s kind of a very light coral color with blue accents. That certainly wouldn’t go with my Christmas color scheme of red, hunter green, and cobalt blue.
In its place I placed a white rug that I got fairly cheaply from Amazon. It’s 6’x9,’ and was going to be awkward if I ran it straight out from my couch, so I placed it sideways, running under the Christmas tree to the edge of the love seat. This also minimizes the amount of feet that will walk across it, so that’s a plus with a white rug in a home with kids!

Coffee Table Christmas Decor- Top
To start of my Christmas decor on my large, farmhouse style coffee table, I placed a 6′ Scottish tartan plaid table runner in the center.

I wanted lots of greenery on the top of the coffee table, so I placed a 4′ juniper pine garland with light blue berries inside a wood tray from Kirkland’s. To add some red to the tray, I added tiny pine greenery picks with red berries and pinecones on them throughout the greenery. Then I placed the Christmas tray in the middle of the coffee table.

Our family reads the Advent story and lights candles during our family Christmas party, so I bought this spiral Advent candleholder from Amazon. To the base I added two greenery candle rings so that the center of the tray would be just as full as the edges where the garland is. Then I placed the candles on the left side of the tray with a gold reindeer pick in front of it.

On the right side of the tray, I placed a white riser which I covered with preserved pine stems.

Finally, I added a white nativity set to the riser. Well, Mary and Jesus were placed on the riser, and I put Joseph behind it so he’s now about as tall as Mary, who’s kneeling.

Christmas Coffee Table Decor- Bottom Shelf
I kept the bottom shelf very simple. I added a Tis the Season Bath & Body Works candle on a candle ring and a white flocked reindeer with a blue fur collar to each side.

End Table Decor
I only have one end table, so it didn’t take much to decorate that area. I left my lamp on a stack of books and placed a gold Christmas tree from Hobby Lobby next to it. In front of that I added a dough bowl filled with large matte and glitter ornaments, greenery picks, and pinecones.

Other Living Room Christmas Decor
To finish up the coffee table area of my living room, which just about finished off the entire room, I added a few Christmas decor pieces to my couch and the wall behind it.
I got this beautiful wreath from Amazon and tweaked it a bit. It came with white and red berries, so I added some cobalt blue berry picks. I also rearranged it a bit, removing some greenery and moving others, and finally added a bow to the bottom. Michael’s had white plaid ribbon that matched my Hobby Lobby tree skirt perfectly, so I used it to make a bow, then topped it with a velvet red and green bow.
Above the wreath hangs a sleigh rides sign that came from the Dollar Tree $5 section.

On the couch I added a plaid pillow to each end and a green Christmas tree pillow to the center.

That’s it! My Christmas coffee table & living room decor is complete!
I love the bright and festive theme that I have this year. It’s so fun! If you’d like to check out the rest of the room, you can see my Christmas mantle here and my Christmas entryway here. I will be posting my Christmas tree later this week.
