Today on Decorate with Us Christmas 2023, I’m sharing a peek at the small touches that I added to my step-daughter’s room as inspiration for how you can add Christmas decor to any tween girl’s bedroom.
Christmas Wall Decor
I got this cute “Santa Claus is coming to town” wall art set from Amazon to use in both my son’s and my stepdaughter’s room for Christmas. It’s perfect for any tween girl or boy as it’s more of a photo and not a cartoon type look.
Using Command Strips, I placed the middle one over my tween girl’s bed, then spaced the other two out equally on each side.
Christmas Bedding
Next, I moved to the bed. I ordered an olive-green quilt set and plaid flannel sheets for her bed. The bedding has the cutest little dots that form Christmas trees in sections.
To the bottom of bed, I placed a red and green heated Christmas blanket.
We got a new Christmas tree for our living room, so I placed our old one in the corner of the room. I added ornaments that had olive-green in them, so they go with the bedding.
Vanity & Side Table Decor
Finally, I added a few pieces to her vanity and nightstand.
A nutcracker frame with a photo of my daughter at Christmas one year was added to the nightstand.
On the vanity I added a “too old to search the skies” sign, a Santa lantern, and a small tree.
That wraps it up! Just a few small touches to hopefully bring some Christmas magic to her sweet dreams!
Both of our kids have lights that run along the ceiling and down the corners, so we turned those to red and green. In the video on FB they look blue, but it’s very green in person, lol!
