Wall art, especially big pieces, can be quite expensive. I shared a great way to save money on Christmas decoration by using Christmas gift bags to create your own wall art! There are 2 different tutorials & ways to create frames for your art in this post!

As you may know, I don’t have a fireplace in my home. It rarely drops below 50° down on the Gulf Coast, and when it does, it’s for less than 2 or 3 weeks out of the year, so a fireplace is a bit useless. I would love to have one, however, just to decorate a mantle! When we moved into our new home last year, I decided to create an area to decorate like a mantle. Check out how I decorated my faux mantle for Christmas this year!

There’s more Christmas decorating ideas & DIYs, along with some free printables, coming so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and via email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!

Now on to the Party!

Welcome to the party.  It’s Bev from Eclectic Red Barn as your hostess for November. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine was wonderful.

Now it is on to Christmas. I am going to start today, taking my fall decor down. Have you already started decorating for Christmas? I always wait to the day after Thanksgiving.

I have chosen some Christmas decor ideas to get you in the mood.

Missed the party last week? Check it out here!

This Week’s Features

This adorable snowflake and bead garland is made from items from the Dollar Store by Steph from Steph Creates Things. She has a great tutorial to make your own garland!

I love these Nature-Inspired Pinecone and Wood Slice Christmas Ornaments. These would look great on a tree, mantel or in a bowl. I want to make some and put on my tree outside.

These Holiday Napkin Rings will certainly dress up your table. Jenna gives you some great ideas for decorating the napkin rings, but you can use your imagination and go wild.

This centerpiece would look lovely on any table. Ann gives you a complete tutorial on how to create this Rustic Christmas Centerpiece. Stop by to see how to make your own.

Can you believe this string of lights is made with ping pong balls? You can make any color you want to match your decor. I love this idea – so many ways to decorate them.

Did you know we have a Pinterest Board where all features are saved to?  Save our pins to your own board for your future reference, easy peasy!
