Welcome friends! Today I’ve got a quick and easy way to make a beautiful Christmas ornament with you: Christmas music embroidery hoop wreath ornaments! These are perfect to customize to match your Christmas theme or color scheme perfectly, and they only take about 15 minutes each once you have the hang of it. Let’s get into it!
Embroidery Hoop Christmas Ornaments:
- 4″ embroidery hoops
- Christmas picks (small)
- ribbon
- paper
- my free printable vintage Christmas song sheet music

Before you get started on your embroidery hoop Christmas song ornaments, you need to download my free printable Christmas song sheet music.
There are 8 pages in the printable set, 8 different Christmas hymns. Use the sign-up form to download the free printables. Once you confirm the email, you will get the free file full!
Print & Cut the Pages
You can print the pages individually or use the page of 4 to create 4 embroidery hoop Christmas ornaments. Choose 4×6 in the print menu if you print them individually to fit the 4″ hoops best.
Cut the pages apart or down to 4×6. I like to use a paper slicer for even cutting.
Then place the outside embroidery hoop where you’d like it on the music sheet and mark each side.
Again cut the paper down along those lines.
Assemble the Embroidery Hoops
Take the two hoops apart and place the paper over the inner hoop & add a little hot glue around the edges of it.
Curl the paper around the inner hoop.
Finally, place the top embroidery hoop over the paper and tighten the screw all the way.
If you’d like, you can flip the hoop and cut off the four corners of the paper.
Embellish the Embroidery Hoop Christmas Ornament
Bend small Christmas picks to fit the top of the embroidery hoop then hot glue one to each side.
Make a bow to cover the stems, then use the same ribbon to create a loop. Glue the loop in place first, then add the bow on top of it.
That’s it! Your embroidery hoop ornament is complete!
I love how these turned out! I’m already counting down the days until I can hang them and leave them out for good!
