Welcome to week three of One Room at a Time, my master bedroom refresh! Let me show you what I’ve finished this week.

I’m joining Tammy of Patina and Paint who’s refreshing her guest bathroom and Terrie of Decorate and More with Tip who’s refreshing her kitchen nook. At the end of the post, I’ll link their posts so you can see their week 3 updates.
Our One Room at a Time updates are on Facebook on Fridays at 7am. You can see this week’s video, week 3, here, week 2 here, and check out how the room looked at the beginning on week 1 here. Next week, will be the final week where we will all finish our rooms and share the big reveal.
Week 3 Updates
This week I got a few new pieces that I added to the room. The two large black nightstands that we had were just too big for the space. When we come out of the bathroom, we stub our toes without fail a few times a week.
So, I replaced them with a white end table that I had from the time I was waiting for our living room furniture to come in. I also bought a new one for my side that was slightly thinner. I’m very upset with it because the edge is broken. I’m waiting to get a replacement top, but it works until then. The oval frame that I found on Amazon is beautiful!

Next, I added a new duvet cover as well as beige sheets and a striped throw that match the farmhouse rug I shared last week. The color matches the blue flowers in the wall art piece that was part of my inspiration for the room. I have several more decorative pillow covers coming for the final reveal next week.

I spray painted my curtain rods, but I ran out of paint and by the time I got a new can the temperature had dropped and my rods didn’t dry in time for my Friday Facebook video. So, I went ahead and added the eucalyptus I ordered in a vase and added it to the dresser. I also added this gorgeous wedding memory box to it and spray painted some candlesticks to which I added ivory, long faux candles. The candles are great and come with 10, a remote with extra battery, and batteries for all the candles. The dresser, like the rest of the room, is actually fully decorated yet.

This is a closer look at the memory box. It’s very large and will hold items from our wedding and honeymoon like sand, garter, cake topper, etc.

I found these lovely beige farmhouse curtains that I will hang next week. My plan is to only hang one panel on each window and use these curtain tie backs to hold them to the side of each one. Hopefully it works out like I’m picturing!

My husband also fixed the closet door that nearly killed me, lol! It no longer falls on my head. We picked up these gold knobs from Lowe’s for the doors. He got the wrong size screws, so I wasn’t able to install them this week.

That’s it for this week’s master bedroom decorating!
Come back next week to see the final reveal! I will be adding a new rug. Again?! I know, right? I also have to hang the wall art, add decor to the nightstands including new lamps, dresser decor, hang curtains, and add the doorknobs to the closet doors. Can’t wait to see you then!
