Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! I will be choosing our features for the month of February. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days.
This week was our Creative Craft Hop, and I shared how to make these adorable Easter egg carrots. They’re easy to make and are great for Easter or spring decor.
I’ll be back soon & will have new decorating ideas & DIYs, along with some free printables, coming so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and via email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!
Now on to the Party
Welcome to Happiness is Homemade #519!
For the month of February I, Niki of Life as a LEO Wife, will be choosing our features. If you missed last week’s party, you can check it out here. As always, y’all make it difficult to choose only five happily homemade items! Keep ’em coming because I love looking at what you share each week. Let’s check out this week’s features!
This Week’s Features
Since tomorrow, Monday, February 19, is President’s Day, I thought the Presidential table set by Debbe of Debbee’s Buzz was perfect to feature. This is a vignette set off from the table, but I absolutely love the scenes depicted in these beautiful dishes: Washington crossing the Delaware, Betsy Ross making the American flag, the Boston Tea Party, and more!
The next holiday on the calendar is St. Patrick’s Day. Raquel from An Organized Island shared these adorable leprechaun hats made from terracotta pots that would be cute tray or vignette decor and could be easily changed up if needed to fit your home decor.
Sam at Simple Everyday Mom created these super cute paper bag leprechauns that can be made with kids of any age. She has a template that you can use and a tutorial for older and younger kids.
Many of us bloggers are starting to pack away our winter decor and bring out the spring. Jenna over at The Painted Apron shared lots of spring flower vignettes that are so inspirational, including this Irish Spring vignette.
If you have or attend a St. Patrick’s Day potluck, this avocado lime crema would be a great recipe to make, wouldn’t it?! Amy of The Copper Table says that it’s perfect for nachos and tacos in place of the same-old-same-old salsas and guacamole.
Thank you for joining us this week. We’re happy you’re here to share your latest posts and to check out the amazing ideas shared by other lovely bloggers!
Be sure to visit all of the link party’s hostesses! We love when you stop by!
