Happiness is Homemade #499

Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! Katie from My Messy Messy Mess is choosing our features for the month of September & did so today for me as well since I’m a goof & didn’t realize it was October 1 today!

This week we started our Decorate with Us Halloween series, and Tuesday I shared my Halloween Edgar Allen Poe themed mantle.

Then on Craft with Us Wednesday, I shared a thrift store lamp to candlestick holder upcycle. I’m using it as part of my Halloween decor, but it can be used during any season.

We are continuing our Decorate with Us series & Tuesday we shared our Halloween entryways! My front door opens straight into our living room, so it’s nice to have a small area where we can put things down or hang things up.

Friday, I shared my Halloween kitchen countertop decor. That was definitely a fun space to decorate! Also, over on Facebook, I shared a Halloween headboard tutorial on Wednesday. Hopefully I’ll get a tutorial written up on the blog soon, but unfortunately there’s been a lot going on in the LEO Wife household this week, so I didn’t get that done on Wednesday. If you’d like to see it, head over to FB and check out the video tutorial!

Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #499

Welcome to the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #499 – Katie again from Love My Messy Messy Mess to ring in one of my favorite months in fall (besides September of course!) – OCTOBER!!!

Our leaves are suddenly changing colors drastically.  Some of the colors are so vivid it’s shocking!  On my way home from work I love taking a slow drive down my country road to take in all beauty.

And how exciting is it that we are nearly at our 500th blog hop??!?!?!?!?!?!  I mean WOW, that really is something!
