Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Bev from Eclectic Red Barn will be choosing our features for the month of November. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! If you missed last week’s party, you can check it out here. Remember to comment on You’re the Star Blog Hop for your chance to be featured on that party! I do not choose my features from last month’s party because I feel like it’s too far back. For example, I don’t want to choose a Halloween post in November lol! I will only visit those posts in the comments on that party because I have two others. I really want to choose from a wider range of blogs, so head over & comment now!
Two of these adorable color block Halloween wreaths have been in my collection for years, but Hubby broke one, so I got the pleasure of remaking one to show you the process.
If you missed it last week, I shared free PNGs (which work just like SVGs if you have a cutting machine) and printables that you can use to make a Halloween porch sign like this one. In the tutorial I explain how you can do so, with or without a Cricut!
I’ve got some more great fall and Halloween decor upcoming, along with some free printables, so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!
This Week’s Feature
Happiness Is Homemade Party
Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well. Although Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, I decided to make this week all about desserts. After all, what is Thanksgiving without dessert on the menu. I hope you find some inspiration with these yummy desserts and maybe share one of yours. I am always in the mood for dessert!
Celebration of Desserts
First up on the dessert menu are these delightful pumpkin pie cookies. As Lenny says, enjoy the pumpkin pie without all of the work. You don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to make these.
If chocolate is your thing, then these chocolate chip mini cheesecake cups are a great way to combine your love of chocolate chips with that delicious cupcake look!
If you are a fan of pumpkin pie, you will find these pumpkin pie cupcakes to be a perfect spin on the traditional dessert. Pumpkin pie in the form of a cupcake.
Looking for more pumpkin dessert ideas. Then check out this pumpkin roll recipe. I think it a fantastic fall treat and would be a great addition to Thanksgiving dinner as well.
