Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! I’m choosing the features for the month of February. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! Katie from My Messy Messy Mess will be choosing our features and writing the posts for the month of April.

These framed wood bunny or eggs from Dollar Tree are so cute and you can make them in under 30 minutes minus dry time! I made both for $6!

Have a blessed Easter!

Before we get to this week’s party, I want to wish you all a Happy Easter. This is one of the most special days in my Christian life, as I know it is to so many of you. I so enjoy going to church on Easter as it feels more special than the other 51 Sundays a year that my family and I attend. I’m so thankful that Jesus lived a sinless life, was crucified for my transgressions, enduring a horrendous death, because He loved me. He would have died if you or I were the only ones that He knew would ever believe in Him. He was raised on the third day, praise God, and ascended into heaven in his brand new, perfected body as the first fruits of the resurrection. One day He’ll call me home and then when He returns I will receive my own perfected body that will not be failing as it is now. No more pain, no more suffering! Thank you, Jesus! If you don’t yet have a relationship with Him, I encourage you to ask God to reveal Himself to you (with a sincere heart) and then read the book of John. Many have asked that and read and He did reveal Himself in their hearts and minds and they received Him.

I hope that you all have the best Easter ever, and I’m so glad that you’re here to share with us today!

I also want to wish my Jewish friends a Happy Passover a few days late.

I’ve got some more great spring, and Easter ideas upcoming, along with some free printables, so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!

Miss the party last week? Click here to check it out! Now let’s get to this week’s features and party!

One of the token dishes at Easter brunch, lunch or dinner is a delicious ham.  This smoked ham recipe from Organized Island looks so perfect if you have a smoker to use!

Carrot cake is one of my favorites, so when I saw this recipe for a carrot poke cake I had to feature it!  Well done to Lenny from Fat Dad Foodie for sharing this – Pinned!  It’s the cream cheese frosting that did it for me. 🙂

One of our very own hostess’ Linda from A Labour of Love has shared a divine looking adult dessert for the kid in all of us. I present to you the Bailey’s Easter milkshake.  Does this look incredible or what?

I am a huge deviled egg fan for sure. They’re a little on the high maintenance side but they always present so nicely.  Ready for the high maintenance problem to be solved?  Try out The best deviled egg dip from Our Tiny Nest. It sounds so much easier but still tasty!

Finally, since coconut is one of my favorite flavors, this coconut cottontail martini from Cindy’s On-Line Recipe Box looks like the perfect way to end my holiday. SO many good recipes on this blog so be sure to browse around!

Did you know we have a Pinterest Board where all features are saved to?  Save our pins to your own board for your future reference, easy peasy!
