Moms love to be reminded they're loved! This DIY mason jar sign does that & gives them a great home decor piece! To make it you need a rectangular wood sign, a paint pen, & cardstock paper.

First download one of my free mason jar designs (personal use only). Either one to use as a Mother's Day gift!

Next download my free paper flower templates (personal use only).

If you're printing & cutting by hand use the color template. If you're using a Cricut, use the black & white one.

Print the mason jar design you want to use & cover the back of the design with pencil.

Cut the excess paper from around the mason jar & tape the design toward the bottom of the sign.

Trace the design on the sign.

Be sure to press down firmly to transfer the pencil onto the sign.

Lift the design & check to make sure the design is transferred before removing it completely.

Use a paint pen to fill in the pencil lines.

Use a fine tip paint pen to complete your mason jar sign.

Print & cut the color paper flower templates or use your cutting machine to cut them. I used my Cricut to make this a faster project. I used 15 flowers.

Place a BBQ skewer on the end of the flower & begin to roll it around the skewer.

Continue to roll the flower to the circle on the end.

Glue the circle to the bottom of the flower to hold it together.

I will have a full tutorial for the paper flowers & more template flower types on the blog this week so be sure to follow me via email & social media!

Place the flowers at the top of the mason jar sign & glue them in place.

Finally you can remove faux leaves from boxwood garland or other greenery to add to the DIY mason jar sign.

That's it! Your DIY mason jar sign is complete!

Head over & pin the tutorial for later! Follow me on Pinterest for new ideas daily!
