This key fob wristlet keychain is so easy to make, perfect for new sewers! All you need is 2 small fabric pieces, thick felt, and a key ring.

First iron your 2 fabrics & cut them to the correct measurements (listed in the full tutorial). Cut a piece of thick felt or felt interfacing to size as well.

Line up the two pieces of fabric on the 3" sides with the wrong sides facing out.

Sew the two pieces together with a 1/4" seam, then press the seam flat.

Fold the fabric length-wise and press the fold.

Place the felt inside the fabric, up against the folded side, then fold the bottom side over it & iron in place.

Fold the top piece so that it lines up with the bottom and bring it down. Pin it everything on the key fob keychain in place. (More photos in the full post.)

Slide the keyring onto the fabric keychain.

Unfold the 2 ends of the fabric, line them up with wrong sides facing out, & pin them together. Fold the felt out of the way.

Sew them together with a 1/4" seam, keeping the felt & keyring out of the way.

Fold the seam out & crease it with your nails or iron it flat. Put the felt in place & cut off any overlapping edges.

Pin the fabric & felt in place.

If you're a new sewer, you can place a piece of masking tape 1/8" from the needle to help guide you on a 1/8" top stitch.

Sew a top stitch one side of the fabric keychain at 1/8".

This is what you should have.

Top stitch the other side.

Line up the 2 sides of the keychain & pin them together. You can iron them so they stay if needed.

Sew the key ring in place by sewing the 2 sides of the fabric key fob together 3/4" from the top.

That's it! Your easy fabric key fob wristlet keychain is complete!
