Download one of my free designs to use on your DIY tote bag.

This is a couple of the other designs available for your tote bag.

Choose your free design & download it. If you don't have a Cricut, follow the tutorial available in the full post. If you do, upload the design to Design Space.

I used a split monogram for my tote bags since they were gifts for my son's teachers. Cut your design on HTV. Remember to mirror the image.

Place the design on the tote bag.

Place a piece of wax paper over the design & heat your iron to high heat.

Iron over it for 25 seconds, pressing down hard. Don't linger in one spot for too long so you don't melt the design & the tote bag lining.

Remove the HTV backing & ensure that the design is completely transferred.

Tie the included scarf around the handle of the DIY tote bag.

I used these as teacher gifts, so I attached a gift tag to the DIY tote bags with the scarf. Get the free printable tags in the full post!
