For a wood door hanger you need a round sign, ribbon, & paint.

Paint a wood sign. Water helps the paint spread more easily on wood.

Use painter's tape to create 3 sections on the door hanger.

Paint the outside sections to match the ribbon you'll be using.

Download & print my free door hanger designs or upload them to Design Space if you're using your Cricut.

I used my Cricut for this project, so in this Story I'll be giving that tutorial. But- if you don't have one, check out the full post for the tutorial for making a door hanger without one!

Cut your design on HTV or outdoor vinyl.

Weed the design.

Center the design on the middle of the door hanger.

If you're using HTV, cover the design with wax paper & iron the HTV for 30 seconds.

Glue a piece of rope to the back for a hanger.

Make a bow & glue it to the top of the wreath. The bow tutorial is available in the full post.

Adjust the bow tails & your "Welcome" door hanger is complete!
