You'll need a cutting mat, vinyl, & a blank canvas or other sign,

Open Cricut Design Space & open a new design.
Click "upload" in the left sidebar.

Click "upload image" in the center of the page then "browse."

Choos
e the file & remove the bac
kground if it's not already gone by clicking the space that needs to be removed.
Select "cut image" & click upload.

Change the size of the design to fit your sign. In this tutorial I used a 4x6 canvas.

Change the colors of the design so they're all the same.
Color sync is on the right side of the screen.

Click "make it" in the top right corner.
Then click continue on the bottom left.

Turn the knob to "vinyl" and load the vinyl on the cutting mat into the machine.

Press the load button & cut button when they flash.
Press the arrow button when it flashes to unload the mat after cutting.

Weed the vinyl by removing the inner layers: the letters & shapes.

Transfer the stencil to the reverse canvas with transfer tape.

Paint the design.

Remove the design when the paint is dry.
