Today on the blog I’ll be sharing how to create a beautiful, yet easy Easter tray or spring vignette. The tray I created is adorable and affordable, two things that I love! Let me show you how you can recreate this tray.

I’m joining Terrie of Decorate and More with Tip and Tammy of Patina and Paint to recreate an Easter or spring tray pinned on Pinterest and created by Kayla of Live Oak Nest for this Wednesday’s Pinterest Challenge.

Creating an Easter Tray or Spring Vignette
You can recreate this Easter or spring vignette on a tray or just spread out on a table, mantle or shelf.
I began with a small round tray because it was similar to the square one that Kayla used. I don’t have a square tray, so now I’m looking into getting one, ha! This round tray matches the wood beads on the edge of hers. Then to the left of the tray I placed a blue and white Home Goods ceramic bowl. It was too large to add to the tray, but it was similar to the one that Kayla used.

Next, I added two decorative books from this decorative book set. They are actually useable with blank pages inside and covered in beautiful linen fabric. In front of the books is a sage green towel with small white flowers and white fringe to add a little more spring color to the Easter tray.

Now on to adding my trusty farmhouse style candlestick holders… one has a Bath & Body Works candle and the other holds a styrofoam bunny that I DIY’d. I created it to look like a concrete bunny because I, sadly, couldn’t find the metal bunny that I have that’s exactly like the taller one that Kayla used! I was devastated! That’s ok though because I love the “concrete” bunny! I will have a tutorial for that on Saturday to show you how to make your own for $2!

Inside my Home Goods bowl I placed plastic bags to hold a stem of white hydrangeas. Then I looped a wood bead garland across the front of it.

Finished Easter Tray
Now my spring/Easter vignette on a tray is complete. I think it turned out adorably!
