Welcome friends! Today we’re continuing our Decorate with Me Fall Series. Terrie over at Decorate and More with Tip and Tammy of Patina and Paint, and I are sharing how we decorate with fall pillows today. Let’s get into it!
Pillows. What woman doesn’t love pillows?! I think they are the bane of the existence of men though. At least those in my house, ha! My husband is always throwing them off the couch, then “storing” them in garage when seasons change. Like I don’t need the pillows inside the covers for the next season!
Let’s see how many he’s going to have to contend with this fall!
Fall Pillow Decorating
I had some navy velvet pillow covers from Amazon that went well with my fall color scheme. The rust plaid pillows were made by me using fabric from Hobby Lobby. You might recognize the fabric from my fall DIY coasters.
I ran out of my rust fabric and Amazon didn’t deliver my new order or pillow covers. Gotta love that! So, I made a pillow for my love seat with another beautiful blue fabric from Hobby Lobby. Then, just like I had planned, I made a pillow from a flannel shirt. The same one I used on the flannel pumpkin in this post.
The next place that I decorated with fall pillows is the on chest in my entryway. Both of these came from Target a few years ago.
Finally, I tried out my flannel pillow in a basket under my faux mantle. You will see that full area tomorrow, probably with a different pillow.
