Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! I’m choosing the features for the month of February. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! Sinea from Ducks ‘n a Row is choosing our features for the month of July and writing the features section.
Tuesday was our seasonal tray tour this time titled Summer on a Tray. I shared three lovely trays that decorate my kitchen for the season.
Then on Thursday we had our monthly Creative Craft Hop where I shared this DIY knotted rope vase that I made for $2, instead of the $55 that the home decor store wanted!
I’ve got some more great summer DIYs and ideas upcoming, along with some free printables, so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!
Now on to the Party!
We are so glad you are here! So, what have you been up to this summer? We’ve been enjoying a nice sunny warm time here in Upstate New York and, sometimes, some serious rainy weather. The rain showers are so-needed. No complaints, here!
Well, we are very excited to see what our blogging friends share with us at this week’s party. Yummy recipes will abound. Creative home improvements certainly will appear that are awe-inspiring. Family fun ideas are the best – we can hardly wait to see them! First, before we go to the new party (below) let’s visit some favorites from our previous party…

Let’s start our features with this delicious, cool dessert recipe: Ice Cream Pie with Oreo Crust from Lisa’s Everyday Life. Blueberry pie filling topping on top. Perfect!

Do you love dips but don’t have them often? Well, invite somebody over and make some dip! LOL! Nancy C made this yummy black bean layered dip and, now that I see it, I have to throw a party soon!

I love front porches. Take a look at the before and after in this Front Porch Makeover Reveal post by Condo Blues! What a lovely place to sit and relax. Just bring a good book, sip a nice drink and enjoy!

When I saw this photo I though of Audrey Hepburn. What a classic look. Wendy from Inspired Eater encourages us to stop sitting around, wishing our lives away, and do something about it in her post Packed Pearls- Power of Massive Action!

Organized Island is the blog that offered up this delicious looking recipe for Creamy Cucumber Salad with Mayo. What a perfect dish to serve at a summertime cookout!

Now it’s time for this week’s newest creations and great “blasts from the past” shared by our blogging friends. When you find something you like, stop by and say “hello” in the comments under their post and even pin it so you can find it again.
We want to thank you for joining us this week whether you are a blogger sharing your latest posts OR a reader enjoying all of the inspirational shares! Don’t forget to drop by and say hello to all our hostesses, they always appreciate your visit! And “thank you” to all of our hostesses at Happiness Is Homemade party!
