Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! I’m choosing the features for the month of February. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! Sinea from Ducks ‘n a Row is choosing our features for the month of July and writing the features section.

Last week I shared how to give yourself the perfect gel manicure at home, saving more than $100 a month! I thought I’d leave it here in case you missed it. You’ll need it as a base before creating Cricut nail art.

I am far from an artist. So much so that I can’t even paint straight striped patterns on my fingernails! This week I found out that you can create perfect nail art every time using your Cricut! In my nail art tutorial, I shared a few designs to that you can cut and use on your nails or on other projects.

Now on to the Party!

Happiness is Homemade features collage July 9

How is your summer going so far? Where we live in northeastern USA, we had a great 4th of July with perfect sunny weather and lots of outdoor fun. Finally, a few days later the rains came, which we surely needed, but I am so glad that it held off for the official holiday.

Last week our Happiness is Homemade party guests came up with some very yummy recipes so three of our features this week are edible! I have to say that the cute teddy bear beach cookies are my favorite … I can picture children having so much fun making their own cookie creation! Which feature do you like the best? Tell us in the comments.
