Check out the huge coastal farmhouse decor haul that I got from Hobby Lobby! I was able to decorate my entire living area for less than $90 with these clearance decor hacks.

Tuesday was our monthly Sustainable Pinterest Challenge where I shared some coastal farmhouse decor upcycles from the clearance Hobby Lobby decor haul. I also shared a decor refresh of my living room for summer!

This Week’s Features!

Father’s Day is in a little more than a week, so I thought it would be a great time to feature the posts that you can use to celebrate Dad! This Father’s Day tablescape set up by Donna of An Organized Season is perfect for dad to kick back, relax, and enjoy dinner with the family. It’s chic, but masculine due to the black and white color scheme and the unique belt napkin rings and the faux leather placemats. The DIY tutorial for those is included in the post.

It’s so easy to come up with an easy Mother’s Day gift; just swing by the grocery store or florist and pick up a dozen roses. That doesn’t really fly for dad, but bacon roses? Yes, please he says! Beth from Creatively Beth shared a full tutorial for making a bouquet of bacon roses, along with a free printable gift tag that you can customize for any man in your life. Be sure to have your tag printed and attached to the vase with the stems placed in foam so that you can pop the bacon roses on and serve immediately while hot!

I absolutely love this “anchors aweigh” sailboat wreath made by Debbee of Debbee’s Buzz! If your father or husband is like most guys, he loves boating and fishing, so this wreath would be perfect to hang on your door, in the dining room, or to set up in a Father’s Day vignette. You could add a Father’s Day sign in place of the beach sign for the next week, then swap it back out after the holiday. Now I’m on the hunt for a sailboat to make this for my coastal farmhouse summer decor!

This DIY lantern shared by Gail of Purple Hues and Me was made using Dollar Tree supplies! You all know that’s right up my alley! It’s so sleek, and its simple lines would make it a perfect addition to a Father’s Day tablescape, either indoors or out. If you don’t have a black leather container like Donna’s, this black lantern would be lovely in its place. You could make several, maybe this large one, then two smaller ones to sit on either side and add some greenery for a fabulous centerpiece!

Bev of Eclectic Red Barn, one of the co-hostesses of our other link party, Happiness is Homemade, made this genius patriotic cork garland. This would be great to use on your mantle or across a window, anywhere you’d normally hang a garland or banner. It reminds me of fishing corks, so it’s perfect for your coastal farmhouse decor or to use in a Father’s Day vignette! You could paint them in any pattern you’d like.
