Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! Katie from My Messy Messy Mess will be choosing our features and writing the posts for the month of April.

Last week I joined some ladies for our monthlly Creative Craft Hop and made this DIY Dollar Tree floral arrangement for spring. I absolutely love it!

This Week’s Features

Welcome to the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #475 – Katie here from Love My Messy Messy Mess and I’m continuing my hosting responsibilities for the month of April!

Can you believe it’s nearly May already?  The weather was so nice here in Western New York last week. We were even able to sleep with the windows open!  I love finally being able to hear the birds chirping in the morning and the peepers singing at night.

Unfortunately, it’s supposed to get cold again next week.  That’s how weather goes in WNY!

It’s time to get to this week’s party – simply scroll down to see all the posts that have been linked up by our participating bloggers!

This dessert looks so yummy yet easy to make, using many ingredients I already have in the house.  Check out this recipe for Atlantic Pie Cake from Jen at Cincy Shopper.

I have learned over the years to not boil and color too many eggs because we end up throwing them away.  Too bad I didn’t have this blog post of 5+ delicious leftover Easter eg ideas from the Drugstore Divas.

I love trying out new recipes, especially those from other cultures.  This recipe for Cape Malay Amasi Bollas from the blog Esme Salon looks delicious.    Esme shares many South African recipes and I definitely think I’ll be trying this one, they look so tasty!

I am a huge Dollar Tree organizing fan, especially when it comes to containers.  Although this blog post doesn’t necessarily mention DT, it provided 175 quick organizing tips for every room in the house.  So many different and new ideas to try out!

Did you know we have a Pinterest Board where all features are saved to?  Save our pins to your own board for your future reference, easy peasy!
