Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! I updated last year’s New Year’s resolutions and year in review printables for 2022. I’ll continue to update them each year, so you can print them and place them in a folder to look back on year after year!

This Week’s Features

Happy New Year everyone! Hard to believe another year has passed us by and 2023 is here! There have been so many great features shared with us every week, and I truly hope y’all continue sharing into 2023.

I am typing this from Jacksonville as we ended our year celebrating college football at the Military Bowl and the Gator Bowl, two awesome football games and experiences. Making this a travel week, not a creating week for me, so I am anxious to see what y’all have been up to. January is a fresh start, and it’s back to me, Linda of A Labour of Life choosing the features for the month. So, let’s see what you have been up to.

New Year’s Features

Let’s start with the obvious, shall we? Meagan at Decorative Inspirations has shared a creative and fun New Year’s Eve Table. I am in love with this concept and will be pinning this to my boards for future inspiration.

(From Niki- sorry all! I think Linda forgot that this was already chosen as a feature last week when Mel from Decor Craft Design was choosing the features. It was also a feature on my link party, Crafty Creators, before Mel chose it, so you’ve seen this post A LOT. Meagan must have done a great job lol! I know we were super short on New Year’s posts which I completely understand because after all of the Christmas crafts and busy schedules, a lot of us took the last week of the year off! Other than my link parties, I know I did!)

Declutter in Minutes

Next up is a perfect post for starting the new year fresh. Declutter in Minutes shares some great tips for actually decluttering our Christmas ornaments.

One way to reduce holiday stress is to declutter your holiday decorations while you’re on your way to decorating your home.

If you have difficulty deciding what decorations to let go of and want to know how to start decluttering, check out this guide to help you declutter your holiday decor easily.

Punch Tin Lantern

We’re starting 2023 with some sustainable inspiration. Upcycling and recycling are very important to me, so I adore this punch tin lantern idea from Sum of Their Stories. How pretty is this, and it saves a can from the garbage so double win.

New Year’s Eve Treats

Rounding out this week’s features are some tasty treats from Hunny I’m Home. She is entertaining this year for the New Year’s Celebrations so that involves food obviously. When you’re hosting a NYE Party you have to have plenty of delicious recipes to serve your guests! Whether you’re celebrating at home or with your friends, you can’t go wrong with these adorable New Year’s Eve treats. Since they’re no bake snacks, they’re quick and easy to make. And when you add some gold and silver decorations on top, they’re the perfect way to celebrate the new year.

Special Feature

And y’all know how hard it is to limit our features because there are always so many awesome options. So, I always have to give an additional shoutout to something that just captures my attention. ‘

So this week there were so many amazing recipes and I thought I should share a few, but truth be told the holidays are coming to an end and the schedule from Organized Motherhood just kept claiming my attention. When and how to use a cleaning schedule just spoke to me this week. (Food will be shared next week I promise)
