Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Bev from Eclectic Red Barn will be choosing our features for the month of November. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go! If you missed last week’s party, you can check it out here.
We’re enjoying The Joy of Giving by giving you the chance to win a $175 Etsy gift card! Remember to head over and enter to win. There are daily entries, so be sure to come back and enter every day until December 15.
These DIY hand warmers are so easy to make for homemade Christmas gifts. I’ve only made 3 patterns since getting my sewing machine, and I made two sets in about 45 minutes!
Birch logs are big in winter decor right now, but they cost a pretty penny. Michael’s wanted $30 for three 12″ logs, but I made a 2′ faux birch log bundle for pennies on the dollar!
I’ve got some more great Christmas decor upcoming, along with some free printables, so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!
This Week’s Feature
Happy Sunday! Well, Thanksgiving for the US is over, and it is time for Christmas. So, I thought I would pick some Christmas decorating ideas that might inspire you.
Check out these adorable Holiday Gift Buckets. You can decorate your however you want. They would make such great gifts ideas and you can stuff all sorts of items in them.
This Dollar Tree Christmas Truck is adorable. The best part is you can get the supplies at the Dollar Tree. Inexpensive, yet so adorable.
Looking for some ornaments to make? If you have some vintage tins, these are for you. Ann uses the tins and broken jewelry to create these lovely Mini Tart Tin Ornaments.
