Happiness is Homemade #449

Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Linda from A Labour of Life will be choosing our features for the month of October. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators and You’re the Star Blog Hop before you go! If you missed last week’s party, you can check it out here. Remember to comment on You’re the Star Blog Hop for your chance to be featured on that party! I do not choose my features from last month’s party because I feel like it’s too far back. For example, I don’t want to choose a Halloween post in November lol! I will only visit those posts in the comments on that party because I have two others. I really want to choose from a wider range of blogs, so head over & comment now!

Halloween is a week and some change away, so it’s the perfect time to give some Halloween happies to family, friends, and coworkers. These DIY Halloween gift bags are perfect for that! They’re so affordable. You could make 96 for less than $3!! I used them to “boo” my neighbors.

Speaking of “booing” my neighbors, I created six different “you’ve been booed” printables that you can use to do the same. There are three different prints each available with either a poem or simple instructions to let your neighbors or coworkers know how to continue the fun throughout the neighborhood or workplace. You have to see the adorable gifts I scored for my neighbors at Target.

While we’re in the world of free designs, I shared free PNGs (which work just like SVGs if you have a cutting machine) and printables that you can use to make a Halloween porch sign like this one. In the tutorial I explain how you can do so, with or without a Cricut!
