Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! Linda from A Labour of Life will be choosing our features for the month of October. Before we get to this week’s features, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators and You’re the Star Blog Hop before you go! If you missed last week’s party, you can check it out here. Remember to comment on You’re the Star Blog Hop for your chance to be featured on that party! I do not choose my features from last month’s party because I feel like it’s too far back. For example, I don’t want to choose a Halloween post in November lol! I will only visit those posts in the comments on that party because I have two others. I really want to choose from a wider range of blogs, so head over & comment now!

Last weekend we finally mounted our TV and then hid all of those messy cords that had been driving me nuts for years as they hung down behind the TV stand. If I can do it, anyone can!
I’ve got some more great fall and Halloween decor upcoming, along with some free printables, so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!
This Week’s Features
Happy October and can I say it please… I am so happy I live in a world with Octobers. This is Linda of A Labour of Life and I will be choosing the features this month. What a fun month. Fall has started. This month is Canadian Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the start of Q4 for all the bloggers. OMG what a month, so let’s get started.

Celebration of Pumpkins aka Gourd Delight
This week, a return back to all things Fall. Celebrating everything Pumpkin, from food, to drinks to decor, it’s all about the Gourd.
First up is the cutest little pumpkin patch sign from Must Have Mom. Y’all know how much I love my Dollar Tree crafts. Good lord, I have Pinterest boards dedicated to every season celebrating Dollar Tree. So this fun idea, caught my eye. Turning a Reception Sign for a wedding into a Fall Statement was too cute to pass up

Cheers to Pumpkin Martini’s
Next up from Organized Island is a fun and festive pumpkin spice martini. This festive drink is great for a fall cocktail party or for a Thanksgiving cocktail. And made with just three ingredients. Not sure about you but this just got added to my Thanksgiving Dinner Menu.

Where’s the Mousse
The Savory Cippola is treating us to a decadent Fall Dessert. This decadent no-bake pumpkin cheesecake mousse is made with super easy ingredients and is a delicious twist to a classic pumpkin dessert that comes together in no time.

Pumpkin Decor Around the Home
How cute is the fall refresh from Penny’s Treasures? Just a quick and easy refresh in some non-traditional fall colors.

Seems odd for me not to share a fun fall tablescape, but I really wanted to stick to a pumpkin theme this week for you. Canadian Thanksgiving is next weekend so share some fun ideas for me to use, got a fun table idea, a new dessert, or a Turkey surprise?? Hit me up with a new link.
