Happiness is Homemade Link Party #441

Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! For the month of August, Katie from My Messy Messy Mess will be choosing our features, but before we get there, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go!

I started adding my new fall colors, mint/robin’s egg blue, mustard yellow, and pinkish purple, to my home decor. This fall vignette was put together for about $12! There are two DIY tutorials included in the post.

Make a super affordable fall doormat with my free SVG or printable design! I used a Dollar Tree mat, can you believe it?

These rope pumpkins are so easy to make, and guess what, you don’t need a pumpkin form to make them! You probably have everything you need to make them at home right now.

On to the Party!

Welcome to the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #441 – Katie here from Love My Messy Messy Mess with my 3rd week hosting the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party for August.  MAN this summer is flying by so fast!

Summer is winding down but honestly, September is one of my FAVORITE months here in western New York.  It tends to be warmer, usually a bit on the drier side, but oh-so beautiful as we begin to welcome fall.  What’s your September weather like where you are?

It’s time to get to this week’s party – simply scroll down to see all the posts that have been linked up by our participating bloggers!

This one just seems to be a no-brainer – of COURSE I picked this as a feature!  Who doesn’t love Baklava with Honey Syrup?  Thank you to the Must Have Mom for sharing this one!

I know my two young boys would love this one – how fun to make DIY Rock Candy Science Experiment from the Hess Unacademy, so cool and perfect for all of your budding scientists at home!

I am a strong advocate for dressing for your body type.  Not sure what that is or what that even means?  Take the Body Type Quiz from Style Yourself Confident to find out what shape you are to help you dress to look your best!

I am a total Disney fat which immediately made me check out this tutorial to make your own DIY Winnie the Pooh Hunny Pot – so darn cute!

Did you know we have a Pinterest Board where all features are saved to?  Save our pins to your own board for your future reference, easy peasy!

Thank you for joining us this week whether you are a blogger sharing your latest posts OR a reader enjoying all of the inspirational shares!
