Crafty Creators Link Party #27

Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party, where you can share all of your wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, recipes, or any other thing that makes your heart happy! After you link up, I’d love it if you’d spread the word about the party! Remember, you must be following me on social media in order to be featured on next week’s party. Allyson from Southern Sunflowers is our co-hostess and is choosing features this week, so make sure you go and say hello to her!

Don’t forget to link up on Happiness is Homemade, and let’s get to the posts that I shared over the last week.

Almost two months ago I upcycled a large basket, but my morkie Bella quickly claimed it as her own. So this week I shared a post for creating your own DIY dog bed basket. My basket is 20″ long and 18″ wide, and I believe that a 15lb dog could fit in it easily. You can buy any size basket that your best friend will fit in. Bella is 3.5lbs, so she’s got plenty of space in the basket she stole! At least when she’s not in it, this dog bed is still decor!

Back in 2020 when Top Gun: Maverick was supposed to come out I shared a Cricut project with you. I updated that post so that anyone can now download the free Top Gun PNGs (I know I say it every time, but they work just like SVG cut files) and you can use it with or without a cutting machine! You can make adorable shirts, hats, cups, even party decor with your Maverick and Goose designs. I also increased the height of the designs so they’ll be the correct size when you use them. After I made my husband and son’s shirts I wanted the two designs to be taller because they seemed too thin to me. So, now they are!

I have some more free printables, home decor tutorials & other projects, so make sure you follow me on social media using the buttons in the sidebar. That way you don’t miss them! This Week’s Features!

MaryJo, from Master Pieces of My Life, is giving us a tour through all the updates in her flower and veggie gardens. She likes to bring the outside in by decorating with the pretty blooms throughout her home. The hydrangea flowers are so beautiful, aren’t they?!

Donna at An Organized Season shows us how we can update and makeover an old basket with paint. She had her basket on hand, but thrift stores always have lots of inexpensive baskets to choose from. I love the wood applique she added for extra personality!

This strawberry bundt cake looks the yummiest of all yums! Jenna, from The Painted Apron, doctored up a Duncan Hines cake mix to make it taste like it’s fresh from the bakery. While you’re on her blog getting the cake recipe, check out her links to more strawberry recipes.

Rustic Origin, teaches us how to make a cotton throw in only one hour. They indicate that this is a simple and easy project and you don’t have to be a sewing expert. What makes the throw even easier to make is they have provided an instructional video to follow.

Thrifting Wonderland leads us through the process they took to create their red and white dinner table setting. The red paired with the white is very striking! Doesn’t that flower arrangement look great in the teapot?
