Welcome to Happiness is Homemade! For the month of July, Sinea from Ducks ‘n a Row will be choosing our features, but before we get there, let’s check out what’s been going on here on the blog over the past few days. Be sure to head over and link up on Crafty Creators before you go!

Last Sunday was our monthly DIY Blog Hop and our challenge was to make something for under $20. I found a headboard about a month ago at Big Lots. I bought it, but I wasn’t happy with the fabric that was on it. When this hop came around, I knew I wanted to update it. I was able to make it something I love for $10.88 and about 5 minutes of work!
The beginning of the month is filled with wonderful blog hops that I love to participate in, and last Tuesday it was time for the Sustainable Pinterest Challenge. The challenge was to make something from things that were supposed to be thrown away after using it once. Check out this DIY faux wood planter that I was able to make with things that you’re throwing out every week!
I’ve got some more great home decor posts, free printables, and outdoor projects upcoming, so make sure you don’t miss them by following me on social media and email. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including link parties so you never forget to link up!
