After you link up, I’d love it if you’d spread the word about the party! Remember, you must be following me on social media in order to be featured on next week’s party.

Don’t forget to link up on Happiness is Homemade, and let’s get to the posts that I shared over the last week.

I’ve been waiting for inspiration to strike to use some seashell shaped Easter eggs that I got from Dollar Tree a few years ago, and finally this week it did! Check out my tutorial to make beautiful coastal bookends that are perfect for summer decor.

Sunday was our monthly DIY Blog Hop, and our challenge was to make a DIY project for less than $20. I wanted to change the look of our headboard, and I was able to create a lovely upholstered headboard for $10.88!

This past week it was also time for our Sustainable Pinterest Challenge with the task of creating an item using something that’s been meant to throw away or a way to reuse an item meant for one-time use. I decided to use packaging materials that came in a TV box. I’m sure you’ve seen the wood planter box on Pinterest, and I found a way to make one for free! Check out my faux wood planter centerpiece that you can customize to fit your home decor.
