Crafty Creators Link Party #17

Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party, where you can share all of your wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, recipes, or any other thing that makes your heart happy! After you link up, I’d love it if you’d spread the word about the party! Remember, you must be following me on social media in order to be featured on next week’s party.

This is the last week that we have the lovely Dee of Grammy’s Grid choosing the features for the party. I’m certainly going to miss her! Make sure you head over and give her some love! I am so, so grateful to have had her help.

Don’t forget to link up on Happiness is Homemade. If you miss it today (Thursday), come back and link up on Sunday. Remember that I add a new post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in addition to the link parties on Thursday and Sunday. You see why I’m super glad to have Dee this month!

This Week on the Blog

Children grow up in the blink of an eye, so give a gift that helps your mom remember these times with a special gift. Use this tutorial to cut your child’s drawings or handwriting with a Cricut. Then you can place it on anything: tumblers, signs, mugs, keychains, car tags, clothing, blankets, anything you can imagine really!

Sunday I joined up with some lovely ladies for our monthly DIY Blog Hop. This month’s theme was “bathroom,” so I made a new farmhouse storage set using Dollar Tree items. The tutorial is so easy, and if you use a farmhouse style in your home, you’ll love these!

Completed farmhouse storage set: three glass jars with burlap on each lid and one with lace on top of the burlap and two decorative glass knobs on the other two. The jars are placed on a dark stained wood tray.

I managed to make this beautiful hand crocheted chunky yarn wreath in a 5ft area of space. The closing date for our house got pushed back a week, so we’re living out of boxes. I was so happy to be able to get this tutorial written and posted for y’all! In the tutorial I included videos, so you can easily make this wreath on your own. It took me about an hour! If you’d like to make a “braided” hand crocheted wreath, check out this tutorial.

I have some free printables, home decor tutorials, & end of the year teachers’ & children’s gift ideas on the way, so make sure you follow me on social media using the buttons in the sidebar. That way you don’t miss them! If you’d like to be featured on next week’s party, you must be following me on one of the platforms. You can leave a comment at the end of the post to let me know what platform you’re following on. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including new link parties, so you never forget to join us!

This Week’s Features

Featured Bloggers: Follow me on FB & IG for more recognition!

If you are featured this week, let me know in the comments if you’re following me on Facebook and/or Instagram. Just a short “following” will do. If you are following me, I will schedule a post promoting your featured post across all of my social media accounts including FB, IG, Twitter, MeWe, etc. I will tag you in the post so that all of your followers can see how great your post was as well! The social media features happen throughout the weekend and just before next week’s party (usually on Tuesday and Wednesday nights). Last week I had two of the featured bloggers let me know they were following, so they were featured last night as a lead-up to this week’s party. I love showing y’all some love! If it’s been a while since you’ve been featured and you’re following, leave me a comment just in case. I’ve got a lot of craziness going on and a terrible short-term memory lol!

Donna at An Organized Season has done it again with her tutorial for installing a tile backsplash. This is definitely something you’ll want to check out and pin because installing your own backsplash can save you a ton of money! Adding hers made a huge difference in the look of her kitchen. I love it!

Tulips are a big hit during spring. Jenna over at The Painted Apron shared her love for and almost-centerpiece-fail with tulips on last week’s party. Check out her post if you’re a painter because she links to a step-by-step tutorial for painting your own at the end of the post.

Lynne from Thrifting Wonderland shared this beautiful tablescape featuring “Josef” birthday figurines. Isn’t it lovely? My cousin got similar figurines on her birthday every year that were matte and not shiny. This post reminded me of hers, bringing me back to the good old days!

The world could always use more kindness. Laura of Me and My Inklings shared a post full of free printables that you can use, including the coloring pages below, to spread some kindness on your own! In order to change the direction this horrible world is heading, we have to raise our children as good people who love to do for others even if it means going out of their way!

Meagan of Decorative Inspirations has some great ideas for upcycling items you may have on-hand into beautiful DIY planters. There are several tutorials in her post, so make sure you head over and check them all out. I’m particularly partial to the popcorn tin planter, and I’m incredibly sad that I just threw one away yesterday so I didn’t have to move it to the new house. I’m going to show the hubby so I can say, “See! This is why I don’t throw things away!” LOL!

If your post was featured, grab your “I was featured” button to display on your blog! Just right click on the image and choose “Save Image As,” then add it to your site. You can add a link back to the blog with the image if you’d like. I would really appreciate it.

I’m so happy that you’re here, whether you’re here to share your latest blog posts, to be inspired be the creativity of bloggers around the world, or both. I can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things that are shared here. You can link up to five family-friendly posts. Since the blog is new, you’re free to share anything you like. New, old, link parties, giveaways, anything as long as it’s not offensive. That may change as the link party grows, but for now, have at it! Don’t just link and run. Visit few other posts before yours or peruse and visit a few that spark your interest. It’s not required, but I would love for you to share a link to the party or my blog in your post or somewhere on your blog. Remember, in order to be featured, you must be following me on at least one social media account.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
