Crafty Creators Link Party #15

Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party, where you can share all of your wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, recipes, or all the other things that make your heart happy! After you link up, I’d love it if you’d spread the word about the party! Remember, you must be following me on social media in order to be featured on next week’s party.

Updated InLinkz Party

I’m so sorry everyone! I added last week’s InLinkz Link Party code. It is now updated, and you can add your new blog posts!

This week we have the lovely Dee of Grammy’s Grid choosing the features for the party. She will be with us for the entire month of April. Make sure you head over and give her some love! I am so, so grateful to have her help.

Don’t forget to link up on Happiness is Homemade. If you miss it today (Thursday), come back and link up on Sunday. Remember that I add a new post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in addition to the link parties on Thursday and Sunday. You see why I’m super glad to have Dee this month!

This Week on the Blog

Last week I made rope bunny placemats to go on our fun Easter tablescape. Make sure you head over and pin that tutorial so you can use it for Easter next year! I planned to share our tablescape on Saturday, but my entire family and I got food poisoning and got incredibly sick for Easter, so we were not up for doing anything cute. I did get the tablescape set up, but I was unable to sit down and write a post on it. We weren’t even able to make it to church Sunday, and I was devastated! About 3pm on Sunday we managed to get dressed and get a few pictures, and that was it!

After our wonderful weekend (can you hear the sarcasm dripping from my words?) I was finally able to write a post on Tuesday. I’ve seen shiplap everywhere, but I’m not sure that I’m ready for a large area of it. I thought I’d try it out on something small. Thus, my farmhouse shiplap frame was born from a Dollar Tree canvas. I used a 4×6 canvas, but they have sizes up to an 8×10 that you can use for this. You can use this frame for anything, florals, greenery, even photos!

I have some free printables and DIY Mother’s Day gift tutorials on the way, so make sure you follow me on social media using the buttons in the sidebar so you don’t miss them! If you’d like to be featured on next week’s party, you must be following me on one of the platforms. You can leave a comment at the end of the post to let me know what platform you’re following. Enter your email address below to get an email when I add a new post, including new link parties, so you never forget to join us!

This Week’s Features

Featured Bloggers: Follow me on FB & IG for more recognition!

If you are featured this week, let me know in the comments if you’re following me on Facebook and/or Instagram. Just a short “following” will do. If you are following me, I will schedule a post promoting your featured post across all of my social media accounts including FB, IG, Twitter, MeWe, etc. I will tag you in the post so that all of your followers can see how great your post was as well! The social media features happen throughout the weekend and just before next week’s party (usually on Tuesday and Wednesday nights). Last week I had two of the featured bloggers let me know they were following, so they were featured last night as a lead-up to this week’s party. I love showing y’all some love! If it’s been a while since you’ve been featured and you’re following, leave me a comment just in case. I’ve got a lot of craziness going on and a terrible short-term memory lol!

Earth Day, April 22, is upon us! Nicolle from Our Tiny Nest shared a fun tutorial for creating seed bombs. This is a fun project that you can make with your kiddos or even in your classroom if you’re a teacher or Sunday school teacher.

If you enjoy sewing, embroidery, and crafting, you’ll love Julie over at Sum of Their Stories. She shared a free embroidery pattern and a tutorial for embroidering it that is perfect for the times we’re living in. Head over and pin that post for when you’re ready to use it!

The wheat bread made and shared by Melynda from Scratch Made Food looks so delicious! In her post, she shares her recipe and a way to print it out, which is so handy if you’re going to be making this multiple times. From the look of the bread, you’ll definitely be making it more than once!

This hydrangea wreath made by Donna at An Organized Season is perfect for spring and summer. It’s so pretty, and in her tutorial, she makes it look so easy to do! Easy and pretty? Sign me up!

How cute are these faux Oreos made by Jennifer over at Studio 27?! Check out her tutorial to find out how she made these with Dollar Tree checkers pieces and how to make a faux cake as well!

If your post was featured, grab your “I was featured” button to display on your blog! Just right click on the image and choose “Save Image As,” then add it to your site. You can add a link back to the blog with the image if you’d like. I would really appreciate it.

  2. Hi Niki. I’m busy visiting links but wanted to let you know that if you or anyone else has posts about genealogy, we’d love to have you linkup at our genealogy themed party.

    1. I don’t have any on genealogy, but I’ll be on the lookout. I need to come link up on your parties, but I get to work at 8 and the next thing I know it’s 9:30pm and my husband is asking, “Babe? You almost finished? It’s almost 10.” Oops!
