Happiness is Homemade Link Party #415

Welcome to Happiness is Homemade Link Party! I’m so glad you’re here to join us in sharing and being inspired by blog posts from around the world. Katie from My Messy Messy Mess is our hostess choosing the features for the month of February. After you share here, don’t forget to go link up on Crafty Creators Link Party. Before we get to this week’s party, let me share what’s been going on here on the blog.

This week I shared some more St. Patrick’s Day decor. First, I created a tutorial on how to create and use a vinyl stencil using a Cricut. It’s a simple tutorial that even brand-new users can follow. It takes you from uploading your own SVG file to painting the stencil. Make sure you get the free St. Patrick’s Day SVG available in the post even if you don’t need the tutorial!

Next, I shared a post full of free printable wall art for St. Patrick’s Day. I used four of the pages in the set on my living room gallery wall. They make the perfect quick and easy decor to celebrate the season! Just print, frame, and hang or sit on tabletops throughout your home.

Finally, I shared another shamrock wreath tutorial. This one is so easy to make using the wire shamrock wreath form and a St. Patrick’s Day scarf from Dollar Tree. It’s a wreath that you can make for less than $3! That’s great for those of us who don’t do a lot of decorating for March 17!

Once upon a time I was shopping the Walmart clearance section and found a bath bomb mold for 25 cents. Have I made any bath bombs yet with it? Of course not! But here’s a tutorial for Aromatherapy Shower Steamers DIY that I could try out- no excuses Katie!

Seriously, I am really about as cheap as they get.  I will shop around for ONLY the best deals, heck I even penny shop at Dollar General!  Check out this list of 10 Extreme Cheapskate Budget Money Saving Tips You Won’t Be Embarrassed To TryLet’s just say that according to that list, I understood the assignment. 🙂

I have never made this dish in my life, however I have eaten it several times.  Never was I disappointed, and with a German husband I should probably figure this one out.  Check out this recipe for Baked Chicken Schnitzel from Comfort Spring Station.

Our very own Sinea from Ducks N’ a Row has come up with this ADORABLE post of 13 Amazing Planters For Your Flower Garden. As a gardener I am always on the lookout for cool containers and features to add to my garden. I also love that many of the ideas are reusing and repurposing which is better for the environment!

I am a good Polish girl – I typically make placek Easter bread in the spring. However, I am not a good Irish girl (half and half, people) – I have never made Irish Soda Bread either. Let’s try this recipe from Premeditated Leftovers, I bet we won’t be disappointed!
