Crafty Creators Link Party #3

Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party, my newest link party where you can share all of your wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, recipes, or any other thing that makes your heart happy! Since this link party is so new, I’d love it if you would spread the word and share away!

This Week on the Blog

Before we get to the party, let me share a few things that I’ve been working on this week. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s time to get your decor made and displayed in your home. In this post I shared 25 Valentine’s Day decor pieces that can be made with Dollar Tree supplies!

Next I created two different sets of free printable love notes for your husband or boyfriend. Why not extend the day of love into half a month of love for your family? Download and print these notes, cut them apart, fill them out and place them somewhere for your husband to find before he leaves for work in the morning. Or why not make this mailbox to put the Valentines in? Make one for your hubby and one for your kids where you can place these free printable love notes for your kids that I shared last week. I thought since they went together, I’d share them again.

This Week’s Features

Crafty Creators Jan 27 features

The time between Christmas and spring can be kind of hard to decorate for. Cheryl of Sew Can Do shared this winter burlap wreath tutorial that you can make in about 10 minutes! It’s perfect to make and leave up until spring, and on top of that, it’s very budget friendly. Quick, easy, and budget friendly – check, check, and check!

This picture frame made by Claire from Pillar Box Blue is actually a shoebox. Can you believe that?! I think it’s absolutely gorgeous, and I am definitely going to be on the lookout for wallpaper to make one for myself.

Penny from Penny’s Treasures set up a Valentine’s flower bar in her living area. Flowers are a popular gift this time of year, so this is the perfect inspiration for us as we decorate our homes for Valentine’s Day! Don’t you love those plates and farmhouse trucks in the hutch?!

Our next feature is this self-portrait painted on a plaque by Kristie from Love My Little Cottage. Her and her family just moved into a new cottage that is gorgeous, and you can see it in the painting behind her and her husband. In her post she said that she specifically chose to paint them as true to life, not the filtered versions of ourselves we see so often. I absolutely adore that!

Isn’t this lemur adorable?!

Finances are tough around the world right now, so this Valentine’s book page banner is the perfect decoration for you to make for your home this year. Julie from Sum of Their Stories shares how to make this very easy bunting/banner/garland (whatever you want to call it lol) in her easy-to-follow tutorial. I love how she changes up the cut designs at the bottoms of the pages!

Our most read post was this tutorial for making a Valentine’s Day card from an old CD. Who needs CDs now, so this is the perfect template for an interesting and innovative card! You can customize them for any season or occasion, so you’ll have plenty of reasons to use those old CDs and DVDs.

If you were featured, grab your “I was featured” button to display on your blog! Just right click on the image and choose “Save Image As,” then add it to your site. You can add a link back to the blog with the image if you’d like. I would really appreciate it. I’m trying to figure out how to create a code with the link embedded. My tries thus far have failed… still, lol.

I’m so happy that you’re here, whether you’re here to share your latest blog posts, to be inspired be the creativity of bloggers around the world, or both. I can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things that are shared here. You can link up to five family-friendly posts. Since the blog is new, you’re free to share anything you like. New, old, link parties, giveaways, anything as long as it’s not offensive. That may change as the link party grows, but for now, have at it! Remember to visit a few other posts before you or peruse and visit a few that spark your interest. It’s not required, but I would love for you to share a link to the party or my blog in your post or somewhere on your blog.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

    1. You’re so welcome! I bought 60-something things lol. I use their signs and wood, vinyl and wreath forms, just about everything in the craft section lol. I was running “low” on craft supplies haha!

  2. Thank you so much for featuring my book bunting.
I remember making a button for a ink up party actually in Inlinkz but it was so long ago I can’t remember how! I’ve had a little look and I can’t see anywhere how I did it, sorry.

  3. I’m excited for your new party Niki! Thank you! It will be such fun watching it grow. I’ve linked back to you on the blog and I know you’ll make it a big success. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend.

  4. Thanks for featuring my Custom Painted Couple Portrait Plaque! It’s hard to paint yourself unfiltered, but it is what it is. My valentine should love me anyway, right?
