Traffic Jam Weekend Link Party #305

Welcome to Traffic Jam Weekend link party! I’m glad you’re here to be inspired and share you wonderful blog posts with our viewers across the blogosphere! Before we get to this week’s features and the party, let me share what’s been going on here on the blog.

This past Sunday was our monthly DIY blog hop. This month’s theme was an outdoor project. I made these adorable DIY lighted gift boxes that you can put indoors or use them on your porch outside. All you need is picture frames and a strand of lights from Dollar Tree. I made a set of three to stack on our balcony, and I love them!

My next project used the leftover cardboard inserts from those frames used in the gift boxes. So you get two projects from one set of supplies! I got so tired of straightening my Christmas tree skirt over and over. I tried several different ways to make one, but I finally succeeded in making a DIY Christmas tree collar with those inserts! This project will take you less than 30 minutes and it’s so, so easy!

Hazlo chose 5 Tips to Upgrade Your Life from Curated by Jennifer. “I adopted a no-fructose whole food plant-based diet that meets your nutritional needs by focusing on natural, minimally processed plant foods because I realized no disease is genetic. Also, WHO classified red meat as Group 2A, probably carcinogenic to humans and processed meat as Group 1, carcinogenic to humans (2015). I did not need further convincing. It’s so sad that there’s immense doubt in the population because of lack of oneness by health insurance companies, big pharma, largescale Agricultural farm landlords, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Kimberly chose How to Look Great Through Cosmetic Dentistry from Shelbee on the Edge. “As a former administrator at an orthodontist practice, this post resonated with me. Seeing firsthand how someone’s smile and confidence can be improved prompted me to get braces at 39. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.”

Niki chose Gifts of Christmas – Anticipation from A New Lens. “I love this post by Pam. Christmas is such a wonderful time of year, filled with glorious anticipation. As a Christian, I am completely with her in my longing and preparing for the coming of Jesus a second time. This is a great read, well worth your time!”
