Welcome to Traffic Jam Weekend link party! I’m glad you’re here to link up and check out all of the wonderful posts here. Before we get to the features and the party, I’d like to share what’s been going on here on the blog.
With October almost half over, I’m preparing my home decor for November. My late fall colors are burgundy, navy, and copper. Since I still had a Dollar Tree pumpkin wreath form left, I decided to try my hand at a woven yarn wreath. I really love it. The colors and the thick yarn make it look so luxurious. Make sure you pin the tutorial for when you’re ready to make your wreath.
Next I linked up with some lovely ladies for a blog hop called $10 on the 10th. I made this pumpkin topiary that matches my late fall decor. I love it too. What can I say? I really love those colors!
Finally I made this gorgeous, elegant fall hoop wreath. This one will go on the wall at the end of our dining room table. It’s the perfect thing to head up our Thanksgiving table!

The bloggers bringing this fabulous party to you:
These are the featured posts from Traffic Jam Weekend #297…
Tracy chose Thanksgiving Turkey Doughnuts from Crafts a la mode. “This is so happening in my house this Thanksgiving! So simple but fun!”
Niki chose I Made This Pretty Door Decor From Last Year’s Autumn Decor Stash from Crafts a la Mode. “I love a good upcycle, so it’s no surprise I adored these upcycled fall decor pieces by Crafts a la Mode. Using the same decor pieces year after year can get old and boring, especially when they’re in the same old fall colors. I love that these pumpkins are pink! It’s still so hot where I live, so I can see not wanting all of those browns and oranges indoors! The gold and pink bring a breath of fresh air to her home.”
Kimberly chose It’s a Halloween Pumpkin! from The Apple Street Cottage. “I am a sucker for a good dollar store upcycle. Especially when it’s a DIY task that I can do easily.”
Michelle chose Peace Sign Afghan Square–Crochet Pattern Review from EyeLoveKnots. “In my heart, I’m just an old hippie and this block really appeals to me. I’ve pinned the post in hopes of making something with this peace sign block.”
The post with the most views was Life is Good from our very own My Bijou Life.
