Welcome to Traffic Jam Weekend where you can share your posts, old and new, with our readers and fellow bloggers! Let’s share and visit each others’ blogs and create some traffic jams this weekend! Before we get to the features and the link party, I’d like to share what’s been going on here on Life as a LEO Wife over the past week.
Tomorrow is the first day of October. Can you believe it? This year is flying by! To ring in October, I created a free printable Halloween sign for you! I made it for our coffee bar, and it says, “Hocus pocus I need coffee to focus.” You can print it as an 8×10, 5×7, or download it as an SVG cut file. I used my Cricut and cut it to use as a stencil. In this post I give you a full tutorial for cutting stencils and how to use them on canvas without any of the paint bleeding underneath.
This week I also wrote a post about lamb’s blood being used to create snake bite antivenom. Out of all of the animals and plants that God could’ve created to best combat the poison of serpents, he created lambs. Check out the post where I compare our salvation from the venom of sin to the salvation of many lives with the lambs blood antivenom after a snake bite.

The bloggers bringing this fabulous party to you:
These are the featured posts from Traffic Jam Weekend #295…
Niki chose this Halloween Candy Charcuterie Board by Linda from A Labour of Life. “I love this idea! You all know I love decorating for Halloween and making my own decor for less. This combines both, and throws in a social activity, so I’m all in! In some areas where Covid lockdowns are still in effect, making these adorable trays is the perfect way to ensure that the kids in your life still enjoy Halloween!”
Kimberly chose Healthy Halloween Treats for Kids for a Spooky Snack from Fab Working Mom Life. “OK, some of the treats in this collaboration are so creative, I can’t stand it!”
Michelle chose 6 Scarves 2021: September Additions, #2 Navy & Beige, Darcy from Within a World of My Own. “I really enjoy how Sally lays out all the different outfits she creates with her capsule clothing.”
Hazlo chose 3 Tips for Improving Your Airbnb Rental Property from our very own Being A Wordsmith. “Earning rental income from any property is the best thing that Airbnb did for empty nesters. I picked out [this post] because most newbies in this business segment think once you take beautiful photos and upload them on Airbnb that’s it – then they’ll rant how it does not work. Once run like a business, Airbnb is more than any unforgettable breathtaking experience. Of course, great memories will do the ‘selling for any Airbnb.’ At the end of the day, the most creative Airbnb host that ‘serves more,’ ‘gives more,’ and ‘exceeds expectations’ over and over again is the winner. Thanks for sharing this, Kim.”
Tracy chose PUMPKIN WHOOPIE COOKIES… from Cindy’s On-line Recipe Box. “I love all things pumpkin!!! This looks like a great recipe.”
