I’m so glad you’re joining us for Traffic Jam Weekend Link Party! You are going to find so many great posts shared with us today. While you’re sharing your own family friendly posts, make sure you head over and share on Happiness is Homemade and You’re the Star Blog Hop as well. Before we get to the features and this week’s party, I’d like to share what’s been going on here on Life as a LEO Wife.
I joined a DIY blog hop, and this month’s theme was a mini makeover. I intended to do a “mini” makeover, but I ended up making over my entire craft room! In that post I share with you how to organize a craft room and how to make a room beautiful and useful with very little money!
Next I shared a tutorial for making a beautiful fall felt leaf wreath. I made two of these wreaths, and I really love them. They match all of the early fall decor that I’ve been sharing with you, so when you check out that post you can also look at all of the other things you can make to go with it. These wreaths make huge impacts, but cost very, very little. I bought a two pack of 8″ wreath forms from Dollar Tree because I always hang small wreaths on sconces in my dining room, but you can make bigger ones with the exact same tutorial. Then I used 4 sheets of felt that were $0.33 each! So I made two wreaths for under $3.32 including the twine I used! You’ll love it!

The bloggers bringing this fabulous party to you:
These are the featured posts from Traffic Jam Weekend #292…
Kimberly chose What to Wear for Moving Day from Shelbee on the Edge. “Very helpful post on something I have lots of experience with.”
Niki chose Pumpkins on a Fall Tablescape from Whispers of the Heart. “Fall is my favorite time of year to decorate my home! I love all of the pumpkins on this tablescape! My favorites are the pumpkin plates!”
Hazlo chose Dear Fellow Bloggers… from our very own View From the Beach Chair. “As a global woman in tech influence, I can confirm that cybersecurity problems and hacking via websites is not dying anytime soon. If your website is doing exceptionally well, you will definitely attract those testing their hacking skills plus those who have mastered a different skill – but at your expense. However, I agree with fellow blogger and sister of View From the Beach Chair that too many firewalls deter that which we look for as professional bloggers – traffic, comments, readership, ‘followship’, … etc.”
Michelle chose Making Birdhouse Gourd Lanterns from The Apple Street Cottage. “The thing I love about this project is not only the awesome result, but that Ann started with actually growing the gourds herself.”
Tracy chose Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Cookies from Every Ready. “Well, if this does not say fall, I am not sure what does. I can’t wait to try this!”
The post with the most views was Caramel Pumpkin Poke Cake from Butter with a Side of Bread.
