Happiness is Homemade #387

Happiness is Homemade is back for another fabulous link party! I am so glad you’re here to party with us. Before we get to this week’s features and party, I’d like to share a few of my posts from last week.

I made these DIY reversible faux books to add to my fall and Halloween tiered tray. In the post I give you an easy to follow, step by step tutorial to make your own for your tiered trays or vignettes. You’ll love that you can use them for two holidays, and not just one! It will save time and money. I made them without my Cricut and with a hand saw so you don’t need any expensive equipment. If you’re not ready to make them now, make sure you go to the post and pin it for later. You can use this tutorial for all seasons and holidays!

I created this adorable Christmas Wish List free printable. You can get a head start on your Christmas gift planning by having your friends and family fill out this wish list with their wants, needs, things they’ll wear and read. There is a section for favorites which comes in handy for getting people something they will like and use and not just return later. They can list their favorites stores and restaurants, which is great for buying gift cards. There are also spots for favorite snack, drink, and candy, and another for their favorite sports team. This section is helpful for people you’d like to get a small gift for, but can’t afford to go all out on. I’ve also included a place for sizes so no one will have to stand in line for hours after Christmas to exchange a gift from you!

Niki’s Feature

Sarah over at Must Have Mom is a girl after my own heart, so I had to choose her DIY farmhouse signs as this week’s feature! She loves a good Dollar Tree DIY as much as I do. In this tutorial she will show you how to make your own DIY signs using foam board! If you remember I have made quite a few things using their foam board like this large DIY farmhouse sign. In her post Sarah will show you how to make several different size signs so you can decorate your whole house for Christmas! Wouldn’t one of these look so cute on your tiered tray? In her DIY she uses a Cricut to make the signs, but if you don’t have one check back here later today for an easy carbon copy method using your printer. Make sure you enter you email in the sidebar so you get an email when I upload a new post. Use the buttons on the sidebar or at the bottom of the post to follow me on social media so you don’t miss a thing!
