Traffic Jam Weekend #284

Welcome back to Traffic Jam Weekend! I am so glad that you’ve come back to share your awesome family-friendly posts with us. Before we get to the link party, I’d like to share my posts from this week with you.

My son is headed to summer camp next week. It’s our first time with this experience, but he’s excited to go. It looks awesome, so I kinda wish I could go too! There are so many things to pack for camp that aren’t normal items you’d pack for vacation. Check out this post where I give you some details about what you need to pack for camp. In it I have shared with you two free printable checklists for packing essentials; one for boys, another for girls.

Collage of summer camp packing checklist free printables. One is for boys in different shades of blue, the other for girls in purple, yellow, and teal.

Next I made my son and my husband’s daughter a pillowcase to use at camp. They turned out adorable! They have their names and the year with a camp image. I am sending Sharpie markers with them, and their new camp friends can sign it. They will create memories they can keep forever! In this post I have shared with you the SVG file for Cricut Design Space that you can use to make your own. All you have to do is change their names to your child’s and cut it out on HTV. With the image already created for you, you can make it in under 10 minutes! In the post I have also given you some ideas on how to create the pillowcase without a Cricut.

  1. Just wanted to thank you for hosting the link party every week. It’s a great way to share with other bloggers. Appreciate the feature for “A Special Table Setting”. It is very exciting. I really enjoyed putting the tablescape together.
