Welcome back to You’re the Star Blog Hop! Each week we share features form one of four categories from our link party from the previous month. Make sure to share all of your family friendly posts with us for your chance to be featured! Before we get to this week’s features, I’d like to share a few of my posts from last week.
On my last post I shared with you a tutorial for creating a scarf and yarn wreath to use during the patriotic holidays. I made mine using a red, white, and blue fireworks print scarf from Dollar Tree and red yarn, which depending on your location, you can now get at DT as well. You can add these to your doors and walls like a normal wreath, but I added mine to a patriotically themed vignette. Wreaths are limitless in their decor possibilities. My second tutorial was for creating another cheap, easy piece of patriotic decor. If you’d like to add several red, white, and blue pieces on a very tight budget, these patriotic star wreaths are perfect. You can make one for $1.50! WHAT?! These are adorable, and there are many different fabric prints available to use in these at Dollar Tree. Add these wreaths to shelves, walls, vignettes, tablescapes, etc. So many ways to add these to your home this summer!
(Sometimes we will have 5 Mondays in a month – these 5th special Mondays are called “EXTRA feature” days)
